JOB TITLE: Lumber Yard Associate (Full Time)

HOURS: Friday thru Tuesday – 40 hours per week

Join our team and become a part owner of HCL. 

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lumber Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their lumber and building material needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate lumber and building materials for their projects.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Operate Fork-Lift.
  • Maintain an organized lumber yard.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • High School or GED equivalent.
  • Some Fork-lift operating experience is preferable.
  • Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.
  • Knowledge of lumber products or construction materials is a plus but not required.

Benefits

  • $18-$19 Hourly (based on experience)

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate/Cashier to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash register, and demonstrating a passion for our products. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, and learning new skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Greet and assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations.
– Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
– Demonstrate products, answer questions, and provide information to customers.
– Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
– Process transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and operate a point-of-sale system.
– Collaborate with sales associates to provide an exceptional customer experience.
– Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services.
– Utilize technical sales skills to promote products and services to customers.
– Possess knowledge of Spanish and be able to communicate effectively with multilingual customers is a huge plus!

REQUIREMENTS:

– Proven customer service experience.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
– Familiarity with retail sales and product demos.
– Proficiency in Spanish and/or other languages.
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
– Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends.
